Here at the farmhouse we have:
- two cats (Georgie and Bunny) who are purrrrfect companions
- Sage and her Canine Companion puppies!
These are just the tame animals!
We have a great blue heron (Hank) that visits our pond on a regular basis. Osprey and ravens fly over our property on their way to Big River. And we can't forget the deer. They are lovely to look at, but I wish they would leave my roses alone!!

 | This is Sabina. I am going to "puppy raise" her for Canine Companions for Independence for the next 18 months. Sabina is from Sage's last litter which I just turned in on October 10th. Sabina was one of 8 pups that will be puppy raised by families and individuals from all over the United States. Out of the eight pups from this litter, two are being raised in the Northwest, two in the Northeast, two in North Central and two in the Southeast. By now every pup is with a family and on their way to becoming a Canine Companion for someone with disabilities.
May 2007: Update on Sabina and Sage. Sabina was released from advanced training in March and now lives in Santa Rosa with a family. Sage has retired from her puppy raising days with 8 puppies graduating so far. These dogs are helping disabled people both on the East and West coast. She had 5 litters of pups totaling 38. She is enjoying her retirement just helping me at the Inn with the guests and chasing her beloved tennis ball.
