The Farmhouse This is the farmhouse in Spring which is my favorite time of the year around here. Everything is green and there is so much happening in the garden it's hard to keep up. The grass needs to be mowed at least once a week and sometimes more. Wild rhododendron with their pink blossoms are starting to show up all around the property along with the lilac by the Barn Cottage. My tulip bulbs have started to show and there are baby chicks in the hen house. You can see why I like it here. People ask what makes this place different from the B & Bs in town and I just say, "It's secluded and away from all the bustling activities of town and so very quiet." click for an aerial view of The Farmhouse Just about every three to five years we have snow in Mendocino. When we took this picture there was snow in town and even on the beach. What a sight !
